Wow! So my oldest son is a Senior in High School this year!
Of course, he had to go
to the yearbook photographer to have his pictures taken for the yearbook.
I admit the posed headshots were nice but the casual images were nothing
spectacular. When we received the prices to order prints, I was
floored! For a 11x14, (4) 8x10’s, (10) 5x7’s, (8) 4x5’s and (88) wallets
was about $400!
I love taking Senior
Pictures! However, sometimes I hear that someone did not book me
because they thought my prices were too high. Well, let’s compare and let
you decide
Yearbook Photographer:
Charges for the
session are from $10-40. Deliver “proofs” unretouched and with their logo
on the image. Preset backgrounds and poses. High print prices as
indicated above!
John Pellican, photographer:
Charge for the
Senior Session is $140.00, an additional $75.00 if you want a professional
hair/make-up artist (you will feel like a model!). Session includes 3-4
outfit changes and 3-4 locations, taking 2-3 hours to create looks that are uniquely
yours. Each look is tailored to your individual personality and every
session is different! You will receive 30-50 high-resolution images
that are fully enhanced and retouched by. The images can be used to
create prints from the photo labs of your choice with a tremendous savings over
what is offered by the yearbook photographer. These images can also be
used in social media. I highly recommend http://www.nationsphotolab.com to order your prints.
Through Nations Photo Lab, for the package mentioned above, your cost
would actually only be $55.00! Yes, I am
very affordable!
I do my photography
because I love it! I believe anyone
should be able to afford it! Please
contact me and let’s
plan your session!

"As my son’s senior year approached, we wanted to capture the special moment
with professional pictures. John Pellican created a comfortable environment for
my son in which he was able to be photographed with his grandfathers 1966
Mustang. John chose each location which exceeded our expectation.......We were
greatly impressed with the level of excellence in each photo." Kim H.
